Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home is a classic on two fronts. First, it’s a classic in the normal sense of the word: two star chefs at work in the kitchen is bound to produce a classic. . But more importantly, I think , is the fact that it’s a classic case of opposites attracting … in this case polar opposites … and bringing out the absolute best in each other.
